Data Engineer

The role

This is a pivotal role at Returnista that will shape our future success. As we manage the returns process for our customers, we collect vast amounts of data. This data presents many opportunities to significantly reduce returns and increase sustainability within Ecommerce. In this role, you will be a key member of our team, responsible for building and supporting the data infrastructure that delivers critical insights and data-driven capabilities to our customers through our SaaS platform.

We’re looking for individuals who can build data pipelines and data visualizations as well as work as part of a team delivering new, data-driven software solutions.

Skills and Experience:

• Competent coding with Typescript and Python,

• Strong SQL skills

• Expertise with different types of database technologies such as Postgres and Clickhouse

• Familiarity with database visualization tools such as Apache Superset, AWS Quicksight.

• Experience in designing and delivering data solutions.

Bonus:

• Prior experience working with Ecommerce platforms such as Shopify, Shopware, Magento etc.

• Familiarity with NodeJS and Typescript in a data context.
